Upon A Fold‘s stunning paper products caught my attention when I saw them over on Pinterest.
They are beautiful & breathtaking. But, the best part? You can buy all of them & make them yourself to display in your own home!

Upon A Fold‘s stunning paper products caught my attention when I saw them over on Pinterest. I am pretty sure I let out an audible “Awww!” when I saw the new illustration that Kris Atomic made for her website. The colors! The clothes! And, most importantly, the cat on a leash! The cat also resembles my Atlas. Although, he’d never be caught dead on a leash. I’ve actually tried it. He just rolled onto his back & refused to move. But, I can live in a fantasy world when I look at this illustration! So cute. P.S. Thanks so much for all your feedback on the last entry. I’m going to try adding a belt to my tucked ensemble next time. Have you seen this poster already? Probably. I simple had to post i though, because this is the story of my life, people. The story. Of. My life. Here are a few images that I’ve found myself drawn to especially over the past week or so. There are so many freaking adorable details in the illustration.
Yes, yes it could.
I absolutely love Elsita. She constantly amazes me. I like this photograph because I want to be the kind of girl that can wear something like this.
This absolutely blows my mind. Enough said.
{found via brightlywound} Kate Wilson’s Little Doodles are unbelievably charming!
These new prints by Catherine Campell of My Folk Lover are so delightful it makes my heart ache just a little. Love the Alice in Wonderland theme she’s got going on. I absolutely adore this artwork by Kenichi Hoshine. It’s beautiful. All of these prints are available to purchase here.
I was recently introduced to the amazing papercutting artist Elsa Mora on Ambika’s blog. I was shocked & slightly embarrassed that it took me so long to discover her! What a gem! I especially adore this piece entitled “El Corazon (Heart)”. Elsa seems to explain the sentiments behind this piece quite eloquently on her blog:
Love her words, love this piece & everything that it represents. See more of Elsa’s work on her papercutting blog & be sure to visit her Etsy for much more papercutting goodness. Clockwise from left: (1) Bamboo Mobile Bird Trio: $68; (2) Don’t Panic Print: $20; (3) Little Bunny FuFu Rabbit Womens Destroyed Tshirt: $20; (4) Brass Forest Necklace: $20. Who knew that upside-down houses and dilapidated buildings could be combined to create something so beautiful? Amy Casey’s work certainly proves that it can absolutely be done– and done well! Casey brings together all sorts of visually-interesting elements to create pieces that are captivating in their complexity and composition. Casey’s paintings have an obviously noticeable theme: crumbling structures and chaos. What initially drew me to Casey’s paintings was her ability to create something beautiful within the chaos of her paintings. I was curious to find out whether there was anything more to these paintings than what initially meets to eye. I was pleased, therefore, to find a sort of artist statement on her website. Here is a quote from Casey about her work that I found especially interesting:
Casey goes on to discuss what it is that truly inspires her and her work; these things include: anxiety, vulnerability, community, the illusions of safety, and the resilience of life. After reading about what it is Casey was attempting to convey in her artwork, I find the pieces all the more intriguing. I am glad there are artists out there like Amy Casey that are willing to explore these issues. If you would like to see a few more of Casey’s paintings, click on any of the thumbnail images in the gallery below. An extensive body of work may be found here. Casey also has a blog that allows you to see the process she goes through when creating her paintings. I highly recommend you checking out Amy Casey Gallery:
