Am I the last to know of this amazing blog by the oh-so talented illustrator & pattern designer Julia Rothman? It is called Book By Its Cover & features wonderfully designed & illustrated books alongside marvelous, detailed reviews. I am most definitely a book lover, so this blog is just my thing. For those of you who have been living under a rock, like myself, I highly recommend that you visit this blog. I’ve already subscribed to the feed!

Similarly to the bedding post I made a little while ago, floral-patterned dresses seem to be everywhere this season. I must admit, I do not wear dresses as often as I should; however, I can absolutely see myself twirling around in one of these sweet little numbers this spring!

Would you just look at this adorable hand-set typeface by Blake Marquis. I like the chunky loops & fun two-toned letters. You can purchase it in vector format here.

These beautiful wooden silkscreened bracelets by Tivi are amazing. Tivi, a partnership between Paul Lewin & Ryan Wither, state that their work greatly emphasizes individuality. This idea is clearly apparent with these bracelets; since they are all handworked, none of them are exactly alike. Made from ebony, zebrawood or birch and lacquered for protection, these cuffed bracelets are sure to gather complement after complement. So classy, yet still so fun & playful!

I’m Smitten is an aptly named website, as I immediately fell head-over-heels for some of the prints they have for sale. The colors are delicious & the subjects are simply too dear to pass up. How wonderful would they look framed together & hung on a wall in your apartment? Or, better yet, mine! (I am this close to purchasing the swan one)
{All the prints pictured above can be purchased here.}

I really like the graphic nature of this print by Cole Gerst. It’s just so very pretty!

{“Headache”: $24.99}
I know these prints are not exactly typical to the sort of thing I post here, but I am strangely drawn to the bizarre art of UK artist Drew Millward (I couldn’t find a portfolio website, so this is his myspace). Maybe it is the bright colors or the fact that they are somehow absurdly charming. I can’t quite put my finger on it, but the truth is I just can’t stop looking at these prints. I especially like the one entitled “Headache.” He seems to have captured it just right.

{“Sundae Bloody Sundae”: $39.99}
