Hello! My name is Emily (middle name Abigail – hence the blog name). I’m a twenty-six year old living, working, & occasionally playing in Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio. During the day, I spend my time teaching high school English. I’ve always had a deep love for the written word & find my job endlessly inspiring. It’s a very rewarding & mentally challenging career. I love the fact that I never really know what each new day will bring! Aside from teaching, some other passions of mine include typography, graphic design, fashion, photography, & owls. I love owls. I don’t care how cliche that makes me! I live in a charming apartment in Over-the-Rhine (which is near downtown Cincinnati) with my boyfriend, my dog Harper, & my cat Basil.
I began this blog to showcase my photography in 2008. However, it quickly evolved into what you see today; a place for me to share with you all of the things that I find inspiring. I blog about photography, fashion, interior & graphic design, as well as anything else that I feel deserves a second glance. I also tend to share little bits & pieces about myself throughout the process. I don’t think there is any way to have a blog without talking about yourself to a certain extent.
